Today the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) released its latest report on how to improve public procurement practices to improve innovation and support the growth of small national businesses.
Tussell provided the FSB with custom data for use in the report and was credited twice, in the context of the proportion of public sector contracts being awarded to SMEs and of the rapid growth in frameworks agreements. For example:
"Over recent years, framework agreements have become an established part of public sector procurement. According to a recent report from Tussell, it is estimated that the use of framework agreements have increased from less than 10 per cent of total award value in February 2015, to an average of 54 per cent over the last six months of 2016."
