"One of the biggest tenders of the last fortnight is Kent County Council’s £50m framework for managed ICT services. The framework will be launched in September, last nearly four years and cover the council’s IT support and maintenance, onsite support, training, ICT strategy, cloud solutions, security and data storage, among other services. Companies have until 6 July to apply."[...]
"Accenture is the winner of the single biggest award of the week – a £20m contract to supply the Student Loans Company with app development and maintenance services. The contract started in April and runs till October 2020.
Another eye-catching item is Morpho’s £7m deal with the Home Office. The firm has been selected to supply the department with the Matcher Engine Software behind its new Biometric Matcher Platform. The tool has been designed to enable immigration and law enforcement agencies to check biometric information such as fingerprints against a database. The Home Office awarded the first lot of the contract to Fujitsu earlier this year."
