House-building gets £20Bn boost in August 2017
August 2017 was the 2nd highest month on record for tender value, driven by a £20Bn tender from Genesis Housing Association - the largest house-building related tender in 2017. Will we see this trend continue as pledged in the Autumn Budget?
This is the second tender of £20Bn or more from a Housing Association in 2017. In May, Places for People Group published a £25Bn tender for the provision of "green energy".
