Tussell’s latest research, mined from its database of government contracts dating back to 2012, reveals increasing activity in UK public procurement. Last month £24 billion of new tender opportunities were published by Central and Local Government as the number of contracts offered reached an all-time high for the second time in as many months.
Opportunities in public procurement continue to grow
2,300 tenders were published in June - up 11% on the same month last year. Despite wider economic uncertainty, the number of opportunities to win government contracts is growing.
Local Govt responsible for half of all tenders
